Author Justin Lee

Justin Lee is an author, speaker, and LGBT Christian activist known for his focus on building bridges between groups who disagree. He is the author of Torn: Rescuing the Gospel from the Gays-vs.-Christians Debate, and the director of a 2009 documentary, Through My Eyes, which explores the struggles of young gay Christians. He is also known for founding the Gay Christian Network, which he ran from 2001 to 2017. Currently, he is the executive director of Nuance Ministries.

Rev. Dr. Dan Boone

In 2005, Dan Boone was elected to serve as the 11th president of Trevecca Nazarene University. He earned his Doctor of Ministry from McCormick Theological Seminary. He is also a 1977 graduate of Nazarene Theological Seminary and a 1974 graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University.

Dr. Boone has authored several books including: Preaching The Story That Shapes Us (2008), Charitable Discourse (2011), Human Sexuality II: A Primer for Christians (2015).

Justine Jones

Justïne Underwood-Jones

Justïne Underwood-Jones is an intersex Southern Nazarene University alumna and originally trained for a career in ministry with the Church of the Nazarene.

After parting ways with the denomination over its stance on LGBT+ issues, she transitioned to community advocacy and is a member of KC Revolution United Methodist Church, where she serves on the board of trustees.


Dr. Paulette Pitt

Dr. Paulette Pitt. She currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Department of Pediatrics, Section of Adolescent Medicine.

Dr. Pitt is currently licensed as a Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor, Nationally Certified School Psychologist, Health Service Psychologist, and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. Additionally, she is board certified in School Neuropsychology.

Dr. William Reiner is Professor of Pediatric Urology, Adjunct Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Director of the Psychosexual Development Clinic at The University of Oklahoma’s Department of Urology.

Dr. Reiner is a leading specialist in treating children with Intersex conditions
